From my perspective,
practicing the art of tattoo means venturing into new forms of expression, but
without losing sight of the teachings of those who have developed this art
before us. It is not just to make a perfect copy of something that already exists,
but rediscover yourself and create a new visual vocabulary.
That is why for six
years I have dedicated myself to draw every tattoo I 've done, creating my own
lines and trying to take into account the possibilities and limits of this art:
the skin, the body, its movement and its evolution over time and the life of
people it self.
The skin is not a blank
sheet of paper, it becomes part of my drawings, with predominantly red and
black colors. In this way I try to represent the duality that characterizes
many aspects of our existence such as: life and death, good and evil, love and
hate, rebirth.
Our existence is not
static, it changes very often and takes us from one end to another. This is my
way of representing that there is always life after death and that great ideas
and big dreams are timeless.
Good tattoos never go
out of style!
